Android Email Setup for Kitkat OS (Android 4 or Older)
1. Click on the Applications / Menu button on the Home Screen of your Android Device.
4. Enter your Email address & Password > Click on Next
5. Enter the following incoming details:
- Server Protocol: IMAP (or IMAP4)
- Username: *YOUR-EMAIL*@your-domain.com
- Password: Same as webmail (webmail.your-domain.com)
- IMAP Server: imap.your-domain.com
- Incoming Port: 143
- Security Type: STARTTLS (or SSL)
- Delete Email from Server: Never (recommended)
- Require Sign-In: Yes
Tap Next
6. Enter the following outgoing details:
- SMTP Server: smtp.your-domain.com
- Outgoing Port: 587
- Security Type: STARTTLS (or SSL)
- Require Sign-In: Yes
Tap Next.
- Username: *YOUR-EMAIL*@your-domain.com
- Password: Same as webmail (webmail.your-domain.com)
Android Email Setup for Lollipop OS (Android 5 or Newer)
1. Open Settings of your Android device and tap on Accounts menu in section Personal:
4. The next screen will prompt you to enter your email address (make sure to type in your full email address).
5. Once done, tap Next to proceed to the next step.
7. Here you will need to type in IMAP settings.
- Server Protocol: IMAP (or IMAP4)
- Username: *YOUR-EMAIL*@your-domain.com
- Password: Same as webmail (webmail.your-domain.com)
- Server: imap.your-domain.com
- Incoming Port: 143
- Security Type: STARTTLS (or SSL)
8. Once done, tap Next to verify the settings and proceed to Outgoing Server settings menu.
- SMTP Server: smtp.your-domain.com
- Outgoing Port: 587
- Security Type: STARTTLS
- Username: *YOUR-EMAIL*@your-domain.com
- Password: Same as webmail (webmail.your-domain.com)
